Looking for art was frustrating, mass produced prints filled empty drywall, but carried no soul. Meanwhile, traditional galleries priced paintings at $2,000 to $10,000, treating art like a luxury asset rather than something to live with every day.
We believe a home deserves honest, human work, a quiet morning landscape, a warm hallway floral, or a textured still life by the kitchen table. You shouldn't have to choose between a lifeless poster and a four figure gallery markup. We built BareWall to make living with 100% original, hand-painted art accessible for everyday homes.

Mass prints are flat and sterile; true vintage paintings carry physical weight. Every piece we curate features authentic impasto brushwork, layered oil pigments, and decades of natural aging. The surface preserves the painter's physical touch—never a digital reproduction.

We sift through thousands of private archives, regional auctions, and secondary estates across Europe and Japan. These are unheralded original works created by disciplined artists—rescued from storage lockers and collector stacks to bring authentic character into everyday living spaces.

Original art shouldn't come with complicated homework. We preserve 100% of the artwork's edges and signature, with zero glass glare. Every piece can be displayed raw on an open shelf or paired with our custom solid oak floater frame, ready to hang straight from the box.
The release model
We curate, restore, and document vintage oil and mixed-media works in limited installments. Rather than stocking mass inventory, we present small cohorts of authentic works under dedicated releases (starting with Release 01). Each piece is sold on a first-come basis and never reproduced.
